Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: September 2026.

1. What affiliate links are

An affiliate link is a special link that may allow ItsWagging to earn a commission if you make a qualifying purchase after clicking it. This generally doesn't cost you anything extra.

2. Amazon Associates

ItsWagging is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com.

As an Amazon Associate, ItsWagging earns from qualifying purchases. This relationship is limited to the Amazon Associates affiliate program — Amazon does not otherwise endorse, sponsor, or partner with ItsWagging.

3. How affiliate links are identified

Posts containing affiliate links include a disclosure notice near the top of the article, and product links are generally routed through our own tracking (URLs starting with "/go/") before redirecting to the retailer. We don't rely solely on this page or a footer notice — disclosure appears close to the actual recommendation.

4. Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships don't determine which products we discuss. Our recommendations are based on factors relevant to the article — features, suitability for different needs, price and value, and publicly available product information. We don't claim to have personally tested every product mentioned; where we haven't tested something directly, we don't say we have.

5. Product information

Prices, availability, and specifications shown or linked from our content can change after publication. Always confirm current details on the retailer's site before purchasing — we don't guarantee pricing or availability shown on Amazon or elsewhere.

6. No additional cost to you

Affiliate commissions are generally paid by the retailer, not added to your purchase price. This applies to the Amazon Associates program specifically; we can't make broader guarantees about every retailer we might link to.

7. No guarantee of fit

ItsWagging does not guarantee that a recommended product will work well for every dog. Product suitability depends on your individual dog's size, needs, and circumstances.

8. Other affiliate programs

Amazon Associates is currently our only active affiliate relationship. If we join additional affiliate programs in the future, we'll update this page accordingly.
